For the Love of Money

There is a scene in the movie "New Jack City" where the a cappella group boys two men are standing around a burning barrel singing their song "For the love of money" and it's been in my head the whole time I painted this wallet.

I remember my grandfather giving me an old alligator skin wallet to use the first time I put on a tuxedo and went to a ball. From that moment I knew the importance of the wallet so I found a vintage Cartier I just couldn't help myself.

I wanted to stay close to the original colour scheme so I have chosen a dark green to represent money along with highlights of gold. The money flows all the way into the wallet representing an increase of wealth. The idea for the money train came from my amazing cousin in Sweden.

For every day use or for a party this wallet will surely bring you both luck and good fortune.
