There was something special about this bag when I found it and read the description. I was not wrong because when I received it not only was it in great condition but it had the original newspaper from 1972 inside of it.
We wanted to do this bag because we feel that it bodies the idea of upcycle Tokyo. Leather product has a very long lifespan and can be used across generations so adding art to it just makes sense.
These particular flower and nature patterns are done by Salvadoran artist Monica Anduray who is well known for her magical realism style.
